With his role as the managing partner of Hager Pacific Properties, Adam Milstein has become one of the top Israeli real estate investors in the country. Hager Pacific has a wide reach, managing and owning hundreds of properties across the United States, with a portfolio of more than $2 billion. With his work with the Adam and Gila Milstein Foundation, he has also developed a reputation as one of the most prominent philanthropists representing the Jewish community. The Foundation has been influential in helping students around the world learn and develop pride in their Jewish heritage, receive rewarding educational experiences, and develop strong ties to Israel. In order to strengthen relations between Israel and the United States, Mr. Milstein also organized the Israeli-American Council, which has helped define United States foreign policy on Jewish and Israeli issues. Mr. Milstein is also a vocal opponent for oppressed groups across the world and is not afraid to speak out on behalf of important issues. He has been recognized by the Jerusalem Post as one of the 50 most influential Jewish figures in the world today for his philanthropy activities with groups like Birthright Israel, the Israel on Campus Coalition, and StandWithUs.
Mr. Milstein’s parents both immigrated to Israel shortly after the nation received statehood. As a young man he served with the Israeli Defense Forces during the Yom Kippur War and later received a Bachelor of Science Degree in economics and business from the Technion. He and his wife Gila left Israel in 1981 and moved to the United States. After receiving his MBA in 1983 from the University of Southern California, he began working as a sales agent in commercial real estate. He and his wife feel strongly that students need to become knowledgeable about their Jewish roots, becomes advocates for the nation of Israel, and know the importance of being able to read and write in Hebrew. Adam and Gila currently reside in Encino, California.
