Working on an assignment for a client, whether it’s for a magazine, a book, a small business or a family, can be tricky. This type of shooting requires the upmost concentration and demands the most from you, the subject and the equipment. I take every assignment job seriously but only to the extent of the subject. As a photographer, my job is to capture the essence of the story whether it be as serious as a presidential candidate or as jubilant as a local craft winemaker.

My work has been featured in the The Torch newspaper, The Daily Emerald, The Register Guard, Eugene Magazine, The New York Times Lens Blog, Huffington Post and dozens of other blogs worldwide. I have also done work for album covers, books, brochures and promotional print and web work.

I have also been recognized by the Oregon Newspaper Publishers Association, winning numerous photography awards such as best photography, best sports photo and best feature photo for my work at The Torch newspaper.
